2 More Arrested For Wild Car Meetups In Philly: Police
Two more arrests have been made relating to illegal car meetups in Philadelphia, according to police.
Joseph Cavanaugh, 21, of Levittown, and James Hare, 20, of Philadelphia, were arrested on Friday, Oct. 25, the Philadelphia Police Department said.
Both men were charged for their actions at a series of illegal car meetups that took place in various parts of the city beginning at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 and ending at 4:33 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, according to police.
Cavanaugh was charged with:
Aggravated Assault.
Causing or Risking Catastrophe.
Criminal Mischief.
Riot.

Customer Did $8K In Damages To Crown Chicken & Grill: PPD
A customer who vandalized a chicken restaurant on Broad Street did more than $8,000 in damages, according to an update from the Philadelphia Police Department.
The incident happened when a woman became irate with employees at Crown Chicken & Grill, 2201 North Broad Street, at 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, police said. She demanded free food items, and when the employees didn't comply she began vandalizing the store.

An illegal car meetup with fires and a police officer nearly being struck has led to two more arrests — this time of people from outside the Philadelphia suburbs, police announced on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Alexis Boyce, 20 of Englishtown, NJ, turned herself into Philadelphia Police at 600 Arch Street at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, and Albert Woynar, 18 of Pittsburgh, was arrested by Pennsylvania State Troopers later that day, Philadelphia Police detailed in the release.

An unlicensed Pennsylvania man has been arrested after authorities say he led a high-speed police pursuit that ended in a crash in Virginia.
Scott Parsons, 34, of Minnersville, PA, was spotted Saturday, Feb. 3, by a Winchester police officer who initiated a pursuit onto I-81 near the 312-mile-marker in Frederick County, VA, where state police took the lead, Sgt. Brent W. Coffey said.

Philadelphia police say they caught the man responsible for vandalizing a mosque in West Oak Lane over the weekend.
Johnathan Boone, 47, of Germantown section, was charged with criminal mischief, institutional vandalism, and criminal trespassing, city police said in a statement Tuesday, Feb. 28.
