Two People Found Dead Off Schuylkill County Highway: Troopers Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after two bodies were found in a wooded area in Schuylkill County Tuesday morning, Oct. 10.  The pair was discovered around 3:30 a.m., according to a release.  Troopers said both bodies were near Ferndale Road in New Philadelphia Borough, about a mile east of Route 209. The Schuylkill County Coroner's Office pronounced them dead by 6 a.m.  Their identities were not reported.  The case remains under investigation by PSP's Troop L.

'Decomposing' Body Pulled From Delaware River, Police Say Philadelphia police are investigating after a man's body was recovered from the Delaware River late on Sunday, July 23, the department told Daily Voice.  It happened just before 8 p.m. near the corner of North Delaware Avenue and Orthodox Street in Bridesburg, authorities said.  The remains were found in the water by a passing ship and reported to the US Coast Guard, police said.
