A man was killed after a two-alarm house fire broke out in Cleona Borough, Lebanon County, fire officials announced on Saturday, March 1. The Annville-Cleona Fire Department and mutual aid crews responded to the 400 block of East Chestnut Street at 6:29 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28. A fast-moving fire ripped through the Bridgeport Suites Apartment Complex early Tuesday, forcing evacuations and leaving residents without a home, officials said. Firefighters rushed to the 300 block of W. Third Street around 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 22, where they battled heavy smoke and flames, according to emergency responders. Crews with Squad 27 were first on the scene, working quickly to knock down the fire, while firefighters from Quint 27 used a ground ladder to rescue a resident trapped on a balcony. Woman ID'd In Lehigh After New Year's Day Harrisburg House Fire
A 65-year-old woman has been identified by the Lehigh County Coroner following a New Year's Day house fire in Harrisburg. Brenda L. Cuff of Harrisburg was pronounced dead in the Lehigh Valley Burn Center at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest at 4:35 a.m. on Tuesday, January 02, 2024, coroner Daniel Buglio detailed in the release.
