16-Year-Old Brought Gun To Chester High School, Police Say
City police were called to Chester High School on Tuesday morning, May 28 after security found a student with a handgun, officials say. Authorities said the 16-year-old student tried to pass through the school’s security checkpoint with a pistol around 7:50 a.m. The student was detained by the school resource officer, police said. The firearm was recovered and a juvenile petition is being filed, police added.

Allentown High Schooler Accused Of Making Hoax 'Active Shooter' Threat
A 14-year-old William Allen High School student made the phony 911 call about an active shooter that brought authorities to campus last week, according to Allentown police. The unnamed teen is charged with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, and communication with 911 systems for a non-emergency, the department said in a release. Phony 'Active Shooter' Report Brings Presence Police To Allentown School
Allentown police were dispatched to William Allen High School Thursday morning for an active shooter report that turned out to be a hoax, according to the department. Authorities said they received the phony call around 10:20 a.m., Oct. 26. A threat made against a school in Allentown on Sunday, Sept. 25 was found to be not credible, authorities said. The gun-related threat was directed at South Mountain Middle School for the Monday, Sept. 26 school day, Allentown police said. Unfounded Threats Keep Bucks Students Out Of School For Days
Threats that were later proven to be unfounded caused a number of Bucks County students to miss school for several days, authorities said. On Dec. 3, a Newtown Township police school resource officer was notified of a potential threat by Council Rock School District officials, Newtown police chief John L.
