Carbon Monoxide Leak Kills Bed & Breakfast Worker In Philadelphia: Reports
A man who worked at a local bed and breakfast was dead in a carbon monoxide leak in an apartment building in Philadelphia, authorities say. Firefighters were dispatched to a residential building on the 4700 block of Chester Avenue in the city's Cedar Park neighborhood at around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, Philadelphia Fire Department officials said. Barricaded Subject In Custody After Malvern Standoff
UPDATE: A barricade situation that prompted Malvern residents to shelter in place ended peacefully Thursday night, authorities said. Officers were called to the 200 block of East First Avenue around 3 p.m. after a man believed to be armed walked into a home and barricaded himself inside, police told 6abc. As a precaution, Malvern police chief Louis Marcelli ordered all residents within a four-block radius to stay in their homes.
