PA Man Took Meth From Trooper's Hand, Ate It, And Fled: State Police A passenger caught with methamphetamine at a Schuylkill County traffic stop swallowed the evidence and ran away, according to state police.  Authorities said 37-year-old Shawn M. Tobin was the passenger in a Ford they stopped near Lang and Pike Streets in Port Carbon on Nov. 22.  When a trooper allegedly found drugs in the car, police said Tobin snatched it from his hands and "ingested it" before running away from the traffic stop on foot.  A short chase ended with his arrest, police said.  Tobin, of Middleport, was charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest, tamper…
