Bucks Crews Rescue Trapped Driver After Van Veers Off I-295 A driver was rescued Monday night after his van veered off I-295 in Bucks County and landed on its side, authorities said. Crews arrived at I-295 eastbound at Durham Road in Middletown Township around 10 p.m. to find the 46-year-old driver trapped in the  2019 Ram Promaster after striking a sign, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Crews removed the front windshield and went through the back doors to access the driver, Penndel Fire Company said. Car Collides With Roller In Bucks County Fire and rescue crews were called to a scene in Bucks County early Thursday morning after a car collided with a roller, authorities said. The driver was trapped in the damaged car along the 2300 block of East Lincoln Highway in Middletown Township but crews were able to quickly free them by removing the driver's side door, according to Penndel Fire Company. The driver was turned over to EMS at the scene.

Driver Dead In Fiery Bucks County Nursing Home Crash A female driver died in a fiery crash at a Bucks County nursing home Monday morning, fire officials said. The woman was trapped inside of the vehicle that had struck the stone porch area of the Langhorne Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center on Manor Avenue when Langhorne Middletown Fire Chief Frank Farry arrived at the scene just after 8 a.m., he said. Farry and a police officer used fire extinguishers to contain the blaze until engines arrived. The unidentified female driver was pronounced dead and the coroner was called to the scene, Farry said.
