Major Crash Closes Stump Road In Warrington Township: Police
A white Kia SUV struck a PECO utility pole, rolled over, and entrapped the driver in a serious crash on Stump Road in Warrington Township, police announced on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
The accident happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. in the Chalfont section of Warrington Township, between Limekiln Pike and Billingsley Road, according to authorities. Witnesses told police the SUV, driven by a 73-year-old woman, was swerving erratically just before striking the pole, which sheared off from the impact.

High Winds Close Roads, Knock Out Power Across Southeastern PA
A cold front brought high winds and rain to greater Philadelphia on Wednesday night, Feb. 28, closing roads and leaving some residents without electricity.
The front brought wind gusts near 40 to 50 mph, downing trees and some power lines throughout the region as temperatures dipped into the 30s, said the National Weather Service and various local agencies.
Just under 2,000 PECO customers in Philly, lower Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware counties are still without power as of midday Thursday, according to the utility company's outage map.
