Three PA Residents Hurt In Route 78 Crash
Three Pennsylvania residents were hurt, one seriously, in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey, authorities said.
A 58-year-old Nazareth, PA man was parked on the right shoulder of the highway around 4:50 a.m. near milepost 39.2 in Warren Township Sunday, Feb. 18, when his vehicle was struck by a Chevrolet SUV, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said.
The Subaru driver was seriously injured while the Chevrolet driver, a 32-year-old Easton man, and passenger, a 31-year-old Easton man, were moderately hurt.

Beloved Lehigh Valley native, Air Force veteran, friend, and union brother Jacob S. “Jake” Krause died unexpectedly on Friday, May 20 at the age of 28.
Born in Fountain Hill, Jake graduated from Nazareth Area High School with the class of 2012 before moving to Bangor, where he lived at the time of his death, his obituary says.
Jake had spent six years serving with the United States Air Force and had recently started working as a lineman with the IBEW Local #126, according to his memorial.

A Northampton County woman was in critical condition after being stabbed by her husband, who was subsequently arrested and charged with attempted homicide, authorities said.
Police were called to the 400 block of Union Street in Nazareth shortly after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, where they found Michael Vaughn Graves armed with a knife, LehighValleyLive reports citing borough police.
Graves was bleeding heavily from his right hand and was wearing blood-stained clothing, according to police.

Northampton County native and father Bradley A. “Brad” Burgess died unexpectedly on March 4 in Orange County, CA. He was 28.
Born in Bethlehem, Burgess graduated from Nazareth Area High School in 2011, his obituary says.
Burgess was employed as a cheesemaker for Calandra’s Cheese in Nazareth. He also worked groundskeeping for DLP Landscaping, his memorial says.
