A man accused of beating his mother to death in Camden County has been arrested in Pennsylvania, authorities said.
James Doran, 30, of Blackwood, NJ, was taken into custody by Pennsylvania State Police in Bedford, PA, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
Doran is charged with one count of first-degree murder in the death of Lillian Doran, 65, of Blackwood on Saturday, March 2, said Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay alongside Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins.

After a four-week trial, a jury found Sherry Lee Heffernan, 57, of Landenberg, PA, guilty of two murder counts on Friday, Mar. 1, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced in a news release. Woman Held At Gunpoint, Shot Dead In South Philadelphia: Police
Two suspects are in custody after a 31-year-old woman was shot dead in South Philadelphia on Tuesday night, Feb. 27, according to city police.
Authorities said it happened on the 2300 block of South Marshall Street around 7 p.m.
The victim and a man were approached by three men, one of whom was on a bicycle, police said.
One of the men grabbed the woman, another held her companion at gunpoint, and the man on the bike kept watch, investigators believe. At some point, the suspect holding the victim shot her multiple times, police said.
