'Juvenile' Hit By Car In Broomall: Police A juvenile victim was hospitalized after being hit by a car on Friday night, July 26, according to Marple police.  The victim was struck by a southbound vehicle while crossing Sproul Road near Lawrence Road in Broomall around 7 p.m., authorities said in a release. They were taken to Lankenau Hospital while the driver remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators, police wrote.  Marple police and the Delaware County Crash Investigation Team continue to investigate.

Man Armed With Rifle Arrested In Delaware County: Police Police in Marple Township said they took an armed suspect into custody on Monday afternoon, April 1.  Officers were called to the 400 block of Yale Avenue around 2:20 p.m. for "a domestic dispute involving a male armed with a rifle," Marple police said in a release.  Authorities said they blocked off the area and made contact with the suspect before disarming and arresting him. Marple Twp. Crash Puts Pedestrian In Critical Condition: PD A senior is in the hospital after police said he was hit by a car in Marple Township on Saturday morning, Dec. 23.  The elderly man was crossing Broomall Avenue when he was struck by a southbound vehicle near West Chester Pike around 10:20 a.m., township police said in a release.  He was rushed to Lankenau Hospital where he was placed in critical condition, authorities wrote. The driver remained on-scene and police said they are cooperating with investigators.  Marple police and Delaware County detectives are investigating, the release adds.
