Next Of Kin Sought For Wyomissing Man Found Dead: Coroner's Office
The next of kin for an 81-year-old man is being sought by the Berk's County Coroner's office , according to a release on Wednesday, Nov. 27. The 81-year-old Terrence P. Grady was found dead at his home located at 1743 Reading Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA 19610 on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, according to the coroner. Officials say he may have also lived at 1300 Lancaster Avenue, Reading, PA 19607. Anyone with information about Grady's family is urged to contact the Berks County Coroner's Office at 610-478-3280.

Dirt Biker, 26, Killed In Reading Crash
A 26-year-old dirt bike operator died in a crash over Memorial Day Weekend, police in Reading said. Officers were called to North Grace Street and Lancaster Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, May 28, where the dirt bike and a vehicle collided, Reading spokeswoman Maritza Loaiza said. The 26-year-old dirt bike operator was being treated by EMS when police arrived. He was taken to Reading Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Prank Caller Sends SWAT Team To Reading Wendy's
Police in Berks County left Wendy's empty-handed this weekend. A SWAT team in Reading was deployed to the fast food restaurant at 930 Lancaster Avenue at about 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, the department said. Police shot a wanted man in Reading on Wednesday, Sept. 14, after an officer was struck by the car he was driving, authorities said.
