Philly Parking Officer's Shooter May Be Linked To NY Murder, Cops Say
The man who shot a Philadelphia Parking Authority officer seemingly at random may have also staged a similar attack on a New York gas station worker, authorities say. The city employee was walking along the 4500 block of Frankford Avenue on Nov. 25 when an unknown man walked up behind him and shot him in the head point blank, as Daily Voice has reported. The victim, later widely reported to be 37-year-old Timothy McKenzie, was placed in critical condition. New Footage Released In Philadelphia Sanitation Worker's Shooting Death
New surveillance footage has been released in the shooting death of a Philadelphia sanitation worker. A masked man approached the passenger's side of a sanitation truck on Rowland Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, when 35-year-old Ikeem Johnson emerged, police said. Gunfire rang out following a confrontation, and the suspect took off in a Subaru Outback with tints and a roof rack. The suspect is described as a Black male that at the time of the incident was wearing a dark blue jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black “Jordan 11” athletic shoes with white soles.…

'Not A Random Act': Police Investigate Murder Of Philly Sanitation Worker
Authorities in Philadelphia have identified the city employee shot and killed in Mayfair on the morning of Friday, Nov. 18 as Ikeem Johnson, a 35-year-old sanitation worker. Johnson was on his route near Tudor Street and Rowland Street when he was shot at around 10:30 a.m., Mayor Jim Kenney confirmed in a statement. “This is a hard day for our city’s workforce.
