Trio Wanted For Deadly Shooting In Northeast Philadelphia: Authorities
Philadelphia police are looking for three people in connection with a fatal shooting last month. Two men were shot on the 1500 block of Arrott Street in Frankford on Monday, March 25, according to detectives. One victim died from his wounds while the other is expected to survive, police said. Authorities have named the 19-year-old who was fatally shot at a Frankford gas station Wednesday night. Isiah Pagan was shot inside a store on the 5200 block of Oxford Avenue around 6 p.m. on Dec. 20, Philadelphia police told Daily Voice. Car Crashes Into Catholic School In Philadelphia
A Philadelphia driver was critically injured after crashing in Frankford on Friday morning, according to police. Authorities said the driver was heading east on Torresdale Avenue near the corner with Kensington Avenue when they lost control and the car began to spin. They hit the curb line, knocked over a traffic sign, and struck two trees before hitting the entrance way to Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School, police said. Philadelphia Police Identify 14-Year-Old Shot Dead On SEPTA Platform
Philadelphia police have released the name of the teenager shot and killed on a SEPTA platform over the weekend. Authorities were called to the station at the corner of South 52nd Street and Market Street around 2:10 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 for a report of a person with a gun, the department told Daily Voice. They arrived to find 14-year-old Wort Whipple of Frankford with gunshot wounds to the chest and arm, police wrote. Bucks Woman Has Not Been Heard From Since 2021, Police Say
A Bucks County family has not heard from their loved one in over a year, and police are asking for the public's aid in locating her. Cassandra Stinger, 41, last had contact with her family in August 2021, Perkasie police said in a statement. At the time she was living on Church Street in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia's northeast section, police said. About 20 people are displaced following a massive blaze in northeast Philadelphia on the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 12. Philadelphia Drug Dealer Charged In Overdose Death of South Jersey Man, Prosecutor Says
A 41-year-old man from Philadelphia has been charged with causing the death of a South Jersey man who died of a heroin/fentanyl drug overdose, authorities said.
