A 24-year-old man was drunk when he struck a work-bucket truck containing a worker 20 feet in the air last September in Pennsylvania, authorities said. The worker was operating on power lines when he was struck by Ramon Lopez Jr., of East Petersburg, on Sept. 10 around 1:10 p.m. on the 300 block West Swartzville Roa in Denver, East Cocalico police said. A "suspicious package" from Virginia thought to contain a pipe bomb was part of a "prank," police in Pennsylvania announced on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023. The package sent from a VA man was received by a resident in the 5000 block of Martin Avenue, East Petersburg, PA around 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 3, 2023, according to a release by the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department. A customer was slapped in the face with a cell phone and an employee was beaten with a shoe following a disagreement at a Dunkin' in central Pennsylvania, authorities say. 35-year-old Mabel Hinson pulled up at the drive-thru at the Dunkin' located at 2006 Miller Road in East Petersburg in the morning on Friday, Nov. 18, according to the police. Police: Lancaster County Couple Falsely Reported Animals Missing That They Abandoned
A couple has been charged with willfully abandoning dogs in East Petersburg, according to local police. Oscar David Ortolaza, 30, and Samantha Johnna Coppe, 28, both of the 6400 block of Hollow Drive were charged on Monday based on findings of an investigation starting in June. The investigation stemmed from two incidences in June where Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department took custody, housed and transported a total of three dogs.
