Bucks County Man Who Posted Bail Three Times Sentenced In Drug, Gun Cases: DA
A 33-year-old Bucks County man was sentenced Tuesday, March 15, to 12 to 24 years in state prison for three arrests involving gun and drug offenses, two of which happened while he was out on bail, authorities said.
Austin V. Carter, of Northampton Township, posted bail in each of the three cases, before ultimately being captured in Atlantic City, NJ, and extradited to Bucks County on March 13, 2021, authorities said. His bail was revoked shortly after.

Authorities Smash Atlantic City-Based Operation That Trafficked Guns, Drugs
Authorities seized nine guns, 14 large-capacity ammo magazines, seven bricks of heroin and more in the takedown of a crew that they said sold large amounts of drugs and guns in and around Atlantic City.
Four men were arrested following a joint investigation by local, state, county and federal law enforcers that included nearly two dozen undercover buys of heroin, fentanyl, meth and firearms, Acting Attorney New Jersey General Matthew J. Platkin announced Thursday, Feb. 24.

$100 Million Indoor Waterpark To Break Ground At Showboat Atlantic City
A non-gambling, family-friendly attraction is coming to Atlantic City.
The groundbreaking ceremony on ISLAND Waterpark at Showboat Atlantic City will be held on Jan. 12 at 10:30 a.m.
Showboat's owner and CEO of Tower Investments, Inc., Bart Blastein, announced the news in a press release this week, touting the development as the largest indoor waterpark in the world.
The 103,000-square-foot waterpark is a $100 million project and will have a lazy river, pools, shopping, party rooms, lounge areas, and waterslides.

A teen and two adults were killed when a car slammed into a tollbooth on the Atlantic City Expressway Sunday night, New Jersey State Police said.

A Philadelphia man must serve nearly 80 years in New Jersey state prison before he is eligible for parole for a fatal shooting and other crimes, authorities said.
Avery Bracey, 39, was sentenced to 50 years for felony murder, 18 years for attempted witness tampering, 17 years for first-degree robbery, four years for criminal restraint, 18 years for weapons offenses, eight years for aggravated assault and three years on drug charges.

3 Wounded In Flurry Of Atlantic City Shootings
A series of shootings left three people wounded in Atlantic City, authorities said.
At 10:41 p.m. Monday, Atlantic City patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Drexel Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert, a police spokesman said.
There was evidence of gunfire located, but no victim located on Drexel, police said.
