Power Outage Closes Elementary School In Allentown Allentown's Ramos Elementary School is closed on Tuesday, May 28 due to a power outage, district officials say.  Jackson Early Childhood Center is also closed for the day, administrators said. No other Allentown schools are affected by the outage.  According to the PPL outage map, the issue was caused by a tripped breaker or blown fuse.
