A man is in police custody after a standoff on the D and L trail in Lehighton on Monday, May 27, according to borough officials. A Levittown man could spend nearly two years in prison for pointing a fake gun at police officers last year, prosecutors say. Benjamin Fell, 21, was shot by Falls Township police last March 28 during what began as a routine traffic stop on Lincoln Highway, the DA's Office said. US Marshals arrested a suspect in an Easton shooting this week, according to police. Authorities said Tamir Freeman was taken into custody in Newark, New Jersey on Tuesday, April 23.
