Police Identify Victim In Fatal Bucks County Fire
One man has died after a mobile home in Bensalem caught fire on Friday, June 7, according to police. Authorities said they were called to Top of the Ridge Trailer Park, 1446 Gibson Road, around 5 p.m. One mobile home was "fully engulfed in flames" and another had also caught fire by the time they arrived. Joseph Stadler, 45, was found dead inside one of the homes after firefighters put out the flames, Bensalem police said. Bensalem Police Rescue Unconscious House Fire Victim
Police were being recognized in Bensalem for their unconventional assistance in a fire rescue Wednesday evening. Crews responded to a working fire call at the Bucks County Meadows Apartments on Knights Road just after 5 p.m., according to Bensalem Fire Rescue. Firefighters stretched two waterlines to the smoke-filled building, allowing the kitchen fire to be quickly extinguished, officials said. Support Surges For Grieving Dad Following Reading House Fire
Support is surging for a Reading family who lost three of its own along with their belongings in a blaze earlier this week. More than $11,500 had been raised as of Saturday on a GoFundMe for Aaron "Ace" Torres, mourning the loss of his partner, Catherine Torres, and two of their kids. Catherine, 32, and 9-year-old Christian Torres died of burns and smoke inhalation following the blaze at 936 Muhlenberg St., Thursday morning, the Reading Fire Department said.
