Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for 25-year-old Lance Ryan, said Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore on Twitter Monday, Nov. 21.

Investigators previously said that the suspect walked into the Morris Market corner store at 1500 Morris Street at about 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7.

When a mother and her son left the store, police said the suspect put on a mask and followed them out into the street.

Surveillance footage released by police shows the suspect punching one victim unconscious. The suspect is then seen kicking the other victim in the head before rummaging through their pockets.

Authorities did not say how they identified the suspect as Ryan.

State court records show Ryan was previously charged in connection with a 2017 robbery.
