DelCo Car Wash Goes Up In Flames: Authorities

A car wash in Delaware County went up in flames early Thursday, March 10, authorities said.

Flames tore through the Mr. Wizard Car Wash on Wilmington-West Chester Pike in Concord Township around 5 a.m., fire officials said.

There were no injuries reported, but both the northbound and southbound lanes of Route 202 were temporarily closed while crews investigated.

The lanes were reopened just after 6 a.m., officials said.

The business remained closed Thursday afternoon, Google shows.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
