The 85-year-old appeared on Marion, Ohio's WWGH for "WGH Talk" with host Scott Spears Wednesday, Dec. 28, to say that he's considering a return to show business one year after his release from prison.

Cosby was convicted in 2018 of indecent aggravated assault and spent three years behind bars before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned the conviction on constitutional grounds last June, as Daily Voice reported.

He's also been the subject of dozens of sexual assault allegations that were not prosecuted in court.

"Yes," Cosby said when asked if he plans to pursue comedy again in 2023.

"Yes, because there's so much fun to be had in this storytelling that I do," he continued. "Years ago, maybe 10 years ago, I found that it was better to say it after I write it."

A representative for Cosby later confirmed to Variety that the 85-year-old is "looking at spring/summer to start touring."
