Funeral Details Released For Cheltenham Middle Schooler Who Drowned
Funeral details have been released for a Pennsylvania middle school student who died more than two weeks after an incident while swimming with friends. Emilio Tarr died on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 1:13 p.m., according to a GoFundMe campaign launched by his mom, Elaina Tarr. He was a sixth grader at Elkins Park School in Cheltenham. Emilio was swimming with friends on Sunday, Sept. 1 when he suffered "a tragic drowning accident," his mother previously wrote. Emilio was hospitalized and later died. A 17-year-old boy from Fleetwood died on Friday, Sept. 20, three days after the car he was a back-seat passenger in struck a tractor-trailer, his family said. Alan Kane, 59, of Jamison, and Derrell Johnson, 42, of Bensalem, were found guilty after a trial for multiple fraud schemes, said U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Man Stabbed 'Multiple Times' In Critical Condition: Philly Police
A 31-year-old man was stabbed multiple times at Fairhill and Cambria streets in Philadelphia at 3:49 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, according to police. The man was stabbed once in the left arm, once in the back, and once in the left side, the Philadelphia Police Department said.
