A 41-year-old man from Brookhaven was killed and a 42-year-old man from Chester City was hospitalized after they were shot in a northbound vehicle at mile marker 1.6 in Upper Chichester around 1:20 a.m., on Oct. 7, Pennsylvania State Police explained.
The passenger was rushed to Crozer Medical Center and the highway was closed for the criminal investigation on early Saturday morning, police detailed at the time. The roadway reopened just before noon that day, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Troopers are asking people to come forward who may have witnessed this incident, the vehicle crash, or have dash cam footage of the area.
Information that leads to an arrest could earn you a $10,000 reward from the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers, according to a release on Thursday, Oct. 12.
