Double Fatal Fire Victims ID'd As PA Family Members, Pets Also Perished: Authorities Two people were killed and several family pets perished in a house fire in Robeson Township, the Berks County Coroner’s Office announced on Wednesday, April 9. The fire broke out just after 1 a.m. at a home on the 3200 block of Morgantown Road, officials said. According to the Geigertown Deputy Fire Chief, a Robeson Township police officer was sitting about a quarter-mile away when he smelled smoke. NWS Confirms Tornado Touched Down In Pennsylvania The National Weather Service at State College has confirmed a tornado touched in Harrisburg and traveled through the neighboring townships during Tropical Storm Debby on Friday, Aug. 9. The EF1 had estimated peak winds of 105 miles, it was 300 yards at its widest, and was on the ground for about 3 1/2 miles, according to the NWS release.  The tornado touched down near the Inclinator Company at 4:33 a.m. and took off again near the Pennsylvania State Police headquarters on Elmerton Avenue around 4:40 a.m., as detailed in the release.  The damage was as follows, as NWS explained: …
