A 25-year-old woman was killed and a man was seriously injured after a crash on Interstate 295 Eastbound in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
The crash happened around 8:52 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, at mile marker 5.7 of I-295 Eastbound, according to state police.

A 20-year-old nursing student has admitted to fabricating an attempted rape and kidnapping that falsely accused an innocent man, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office announced on Thursday, Jan. 16.
Anjela Borisova Urumova, of Bristol Township, pleaded to seven misdemeanor charges, including false alarm to an agency of public safety, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, false reports, and unsworn falsifications to authorities, the DA's office said.

Woman Assaulted At Mental Health Home: PA State Police
A woman was assaulted at a mental health home in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025.
Troopers were called to the home on Elwyn Road at 7:27 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, where a 24-year-old woman from Ardmore reported that a man suspect had threatened her and forced her to perform a sexual act, police stated in the release.
The victim was given immediate medical care following the incident, investigators said.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.

A suspected serial bank robber was apprehended moments after he fled the PNC Bank on Hulmeville Road with $4,000 in cash on Monday, Dec. 23, authorities announced on Tuesday, Dec. 24.
Marc Masich, 47, of Amherst, NY, was captured by officers outside the bank at 5:21 p.m. while carrying a gray-and-white bag containing the stolen money, according to Bensalem police.

Man Accused Of Beheading Dad, Posting YouTube Video, Testifies At 1st Hearing: Bucks DA
Justin Mohn, the Middletown Township man who allegedly beheaded his father and posted a disturbing 14-minute-long YouTube video holding his father’s head testified for two hours Tuesday, Sept. 10, authorities announced.
Mohn also allegedly called for violent attacks against members of the federal government, according to Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn.
His father was a government worker.
After testimony at his preliminary hearing at the Bucks County Justice Center, Mohn, 32, was ordered held for trial for the Jan. 30, 2024, killing of his father, the DA said.
