New details have been released in multiple serious Lehigh Valley crashes, including one involving minors, District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan said on Monday, Oct. 14 A teenager driving a stolen Nissan Maxima crashed on American Parkway, just north of the intersection of Bradford Street in Allentown at 2:35 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, the DA detailed. An 84-year-old Bethel woman was shot in the head as she was reading the Bible, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The woman was shot by her husband, Howard "Philip" Boltz, as she was sitting at their dinner at their dining room table at 9:10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, as detailed in the affidavit of probable cause. A pair of motorcyclists were hospitalized with serious injuries when one struck the other on Route 80 in Warren County on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Kawasaki and Aprilia motorcycle were traveling east on Route 80 when the 33-year-old Aprilla operator struck the rear of the Kawasaki around 6 p.m. at milepost 12.6 in Hope Township, New Jersey State Polie Sgt. An 18-year-old farm worker was airlifted on Monday, Sept. 16 after getting stuck in a corn binder machine, authorities said. The girl was injured on the 300 block of Wilson Mill Road in Lower Oxford, according to Pennsylvania State Police. She was in stable condition after getting stuck at about 11 a.m., Corporal Travis Hill of the Avondale Station said. Hill did not know what part of her got stuck in the machine.
