Snow Forecast Expands In NJ, PA: Here's How Much Snow Is Now Being Predicted A powerful low-pressure system is set to bring more snow and rain to the region than initially predicted, with higher elevations now expected to see significant snowfall by Friday evening, Nov. 22 in parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Tornado Watch Shifts, Now Covers These Counties Across NJ, PA As Debby Creeps In The National Weather Service has shifted its tornado watch across New Jersey and Pennsylvania as Hurricane Debby creeps in. In New Jersey, the tornado watch is in effect through 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 and covers Bergen, Essex, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren counties in North Jersey. In Pennsylvania, the tornado watch is issued in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, and Bucks counties. PA Motorcyclist Killed Hitting One Car, Run Over By Another On Route 78 (Update) A 45-year-old Easton, PA man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 78 in New Jersey on Tuesday, July 2, authorities said. At 10:04 p.m., a BMW motorcycle traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Greenwich Township struck the back of a 2017 Toyota Camry, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was ejected and was subsequently struck by a 2020 Toyota Camry, killing him, Marchan said.  The driver of the 2017 Toyota Camry sustained minor injuries, Marchan said.  The crash remains u…

Driver Hurt After Spinning Out In Wild Tractor Trailer Crash On Route 78: State Police Two people were injured including one seriously after a three-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on Wednesday, May 29 on Route 78 in Hunterdon County, authorities said. A tractor-trailer was parked and unoccupied on the right shoulder on Route 78 West in Lebanon when a Subaru driven by a 60-year-old Northampton, PA woman entered the area and struck the left rear of the truck just after 9 a.m., New Jersey State Police said.  The crash caused the Subaru to spin out and hit a Volkswagen passenger car traveling in the right lane, police said.  As a result of the crash, the tractor-…
