Two have been arrested following a fight-turned-shooting over a garbage bag full of marijuana at a Wawa parking lot, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and the West Goshen Police Department announced on Monday, Oct. 21.
Frank Johnson, 21, of Coatesville, and Zahir Scott, 18, of Wilmington, Delaware, have been arrested in connection with the shooting in the 700 block of East Market Street in West Goshen Township at 2:03 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, according to the DA's release.

Three arrests have been made in the June 2024 overdose death of a pregnant woman, authorities in Chester County announced.
Three people have been arrested in connection with a drug overdose death of a pregnant woman in East Whiteland Township, authorities said.
The unidentified woman died on June 5. She was six months pregnant according to Chester County District Attorney Christopher L. de Barrena-Sarobe.
An autopsy revealed that the victim died from an overdose of fentanyl, para-fluoro-fentanyl, xylazine, and methamphetamine, the DA said on Monday, Sept. 9.

Burger King Worker Sexually Assaulted 2 Underage Co-Workers, Chester County DA Says
A worker at a Burger King in Chester County has been arrested for sexually assaulting a younger co-worker while "grooming" another for abuse, authorities announced on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Anthony Burns, 37, of Spring City, had unlawful sexual contact with two minors under the age of 16, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office.
Burns has been charged with Statutory Sexual Assault, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Unlawful Contact with Minors, and other related charges, the DA said.

Homeowner Set Fire To Berwyn Residence, DA Says
The two-alarm fire at a Berwyn home last week was set intentionally by the owner, prosecutors believe.
Kathryn Frankel, 41, is charged with arson, criminal mischief, and related counts, said the Chester County District Attorney's Office on Wednesday, July 31.
The fire was "well-advanced" by the time authorities arrived at the 400 block of Leopard Road around 11 a.m. on July 23, Berwyn Fire Company said previously.
