Driver ID'd, Girl Hospitalized After Tree Falls On SUV In Chester County A 30-year-old woman was killed, and a 5-year-old girl was hospitalized following a tree limb falling on the roof of a car on South Ship Road in West Whiteland Township on Thursday, Dec. 5, authorities said. The Chester County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Kelsey Jean. Jean was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban when a tree landed on its roof near Stonegate Court at approximately 9:54 a.m., according to police. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Detour Ahead: Roadwork Planned In Delaware County Crews will begin roadwork in Nether Providence on Monday, May 20 and will continue through Friday, May 24, township police say.  A lane closure is scheduled for Wallingford Avenue between Manchester Avenue and Route 252/Providence Road while workers make utility adjustments and mill and pave the roadway, according to officials.  Drivers should use alternate routes, they added.
