Stephen Rapp, 48, of South Manheim Township, was pronounced dead at 8:41 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, in the emergency department at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said on Wednesday, March 12. The fatal incident happened at 102 Deka Road in Lyon Station around 7:49 p.m. when the metal pallets fell on Rapp, causing mechanical asphyxia, officials said. His death has been ruled an accident.
