An 80-year-old woman has just over two weeks after a car crash into a tree, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio announced on Tuesday, July 30. Marilyn A. Barlip, Greenwich Township, was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, July 29, as detailed in the release. A father of two died following a crash into a tree on Wednesday night, July 17, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio announced the following morning. Johny M. Roustic, 51, of East Allen Township, crashed on Pembroke Road near East Washington Avenue in Bethlehem around 8 p.m., city police detailed in a separate release. Authorities have released additional details in the Interstate 78 crash that shut down a large stretch of the highway on Monday, July 1. The multi-vehicle wreck happened near mile marker 31 in Hamburg, state police said in a release. A tractor-trailer was headed west in a work zone when it hit the center concrete barrier, troopers said. A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 78 on Wednesday, authorities say. The motorcycle, a tractor-trailer, and a Honda Pilot were involved in a wreck near Exit 58 around 11:45 a.m., according to state police. The Lehigh County Coroner's Office said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said he was a Coppersburg resident but did not report his name Wednesday. Officials have released the 19-year-old man killed in a pursuit that ended in a crash with Pennsylvania State Troopers Thursday, June 6. Troopers were attempting to stop Matthew Stepp, of Lehighton, in a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 for code violations around 6:24 p.m. Thursday, Trooper Anthony Petroski III said.
