Death Investigation Closes Road In Upper Allen Township: Police A man was found dead in Upper Allen Township early Wednesday, Dec. 18, according to police. Upper Allen Township Police Department officers were called to the 400 block of Ricky Road at approximately 3:45 a.m., where they discovered the deceased man, authorities said in a release. A portion of the road was temporarily closed as detectives conducted their investigation. The road has since reopened, police said. Tractor-Trailer Fire Shutters Part Of PA Turnpike: PennDOT A tractor-trailer caught on fire along the Pennsylvania Turnpike prompting a detour to be put in place on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  The fire broke out in Upper Allen Township near mile marker 234.7 around 2:09 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA.  The turnpike is closed at the Gettysburg interchange.
