A driver who died after crashing into a Lancaster County home and sparking a fire has been identified, authorities said.
Emergency crews responded to the 100 block of Mill Road in West Cocalico Township around 4:05 p.m. on Friday, March 27, for a reported crash, according to Ephrata Police.
Investigators determined a GMC Yukon driven by John Miller, 67, of Stevens, was traveling north on Mill Road when it left the roadway for unknown reasons, traveled through a field, and slammed into a residence, police said.

A 68-year-old man has died following a mobile home fire in Derry Township, Mifflin County, the coroner announced on Monday, Aug. 11.
Matthew Proud was pronounced dead at 5:33 a.m. on Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, according to the Mifflin County Coroner’s Office.
The cause of death was inhalation of products of combustion, and the manner of death was ruled accidental, the release said.
