A boy has been charged and arrested after a neighborhood "disturbance" on Sunday night, Oct 13, the Lancaster City police announced the following day. Police were called to reports of a man with a gun in the 500 block of Pershing Avenue around 11:30 p.m. When officers arrived they soon learned a neighbor’s dispute had happened and it quickly escalated. A stray bullet from a shots fired incident went through a man's home and into his hand while he was sleeping early Saturday morning, Oct. 12, Lancaster City police announced later that day. Officers were called to the reported shooting in the 300 block of S. Anne Street around 2:30 a.m. They arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand, according to the release. A bomb threat prompted an evacuation at Franklin & Marshall College on Thursday, officials told Daily Voice. The alert about the threat at the college located at 637 College Avenue in Lancaster went out at 10:12 a.m. on July 11, according to the school's Department of Public Safety.
