Errol Staples’ Death Ruled Homicide After Months-Long Investigation: Dauphin County Officials Errol Staples, a 39-year-old Harrisburg resident, died from complications of strangulation and traumatic brain injury, Dauphin County Officials told Daily Voice on Friday, Nov. 29. Staples’ death, which occurred nearly five months ago, has now been ruled a homicide. Staples’ body was discovered in the 100 block of Linden Street in the Allison Hill neighborhood of Harrisburg around 6:09 p.m. on July 8, 2024, according to authorities at the time. HS Football Player Riding In Pickup Flatbed Falls To Death: PA State Police A 16-year-old died from injuries weeks after a serious fall from the flatbed of a pickup truck, the Pennsylvania State Police announced on Friday, July 19. Fundraiser Launched For Family Of Cumberland County PIO, Firefighter A Pennsylvania firefighter of over 50 years has died, according to his family and friends. John Bruetsch, 65, a New Cumberland native living in Enola, passed away on June 9, his sister Karen Blazina announced on Facebook. In her post she wrote the following: "Today I lost my younger brother.
