Missing Endangered Alert Issued For PA Woman
A missing Cheltenham woman may be in danger, according to an alert from the Cheltenham Township Police Department on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Madelyn Edwards, 81, was last seen in the area of Old Farm Road, Cheltenham Township at 12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, police said. She's described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, 110 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes.
Edwards was last seen driving a gray 2017 Hyundai Accent with Pennsylvania license plate MLJ-4374, according to police.

Toddler Shot In Lung, PA Dad Charged: DA
A 2-year-old Pottstown boy accidentally shot himself with his father's loaded firearm, leading to felony child and reckless endangerment charges for the father, authorities said.
Luis Marin, 34, of Pottstown, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 26, with endangering the welfare of a child and recklessly endangering another person after leaving the loaded firearm on his bed on Wednesday, May 15, resulting in the child shooting himself, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.

Tornado Watch Shifts, Now Covers These Counties Across NJ, PA As Debby Creeps In
The National Weather Service has shifted its tornado watch across New Jersey and Pennsylvania as Hurricane Debby creeps in.
In New Jersey, the tornado watch is in effect through 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 and covers Bergen, Essex, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren counties in North Jersey.
In Pennsylvania, the tornado watch is issued in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, and Bucks counties.
The tornado threat for South Jersey has diminished since the initial watch was issued early Friday morning, which has since been canceled.

PA Catalytic Converter Theft Ring Shut Down, DA Says
An organized catalytic converter theft ring operating in multiple Pennsylvania counties has been busted up with the arrest of five men, authorities said.
The ring operated in Montgomery, Delaware, Bucks, Chester and Philadelphia counties, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer.
