A Lancaster County man has been arrested on multiple child pornography charges, police announced on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025.
Dakota Wayne Varner, 25, of New Holland, was charged after police executed a search warrant on his home, uncovering explicit materials depicting minors, according to the New Holland Police Department.
Officers began investigating after receiving a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Dec. 30, 2024. The tip led detectives to Varner’s residence in New Holland Borough, police said.

Jessica Walters, 35, and Robert Nochella, 35, were arrested after Monroe County detectives and Children and Youth Services discovered drug paraphernalia, scales, and packaging materials scattered throughout their home on Thursday, Feb. 6, officials said. A Williamsport man is accused of providing alcohol to teens, secretly filming them, and possessing child sexual abuse material, police announced on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
Colin James Best, 39, has been charged with sexual abuse of children, invasion of privacy, corruption of minors, furnishing liquor to minors, criminal use of a communication facility, indecent assault, and endangering the welfare of children, according to Williamsport police.

Stevens Man Charged For Sharing Child Pornography: East Cocalico Police
A Stevens man has been charged with possessing and sharing child pornography following a two-month investigation, East Cocalico Township Police announced on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Michael Pierce, 50, was charged with possession of child pornography, dissemination of child pornography, and criminal use of a communication facility, according to police.
Pierce was arrested in Stevens on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
Pierce’s preliminary arraignment was held, and he was released on non-monetary bail, authorities said.
His preliminary hearing is pending.
