8-Year-Old Boy Flown To Hospital After Near-Drowning At PA Jellystone Camp Pool An 8-year-old boy was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after nearly drowning in a campground swimming pool in Fayette County on Saturday, Aug. 8, according to emergency dispatchers. The near-drowning happened in the main pool at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort along Mill Run Road in Springfield Township around 1:30 p.m., a Fayette County 911 supervisor said. First responders were called to the campground following reports that the child had nearly drowned in the pool. The boy was flown from the campground to a Pittsburgh hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
