School Bus With 9 Students Hit By Fleeing Dump Truck In South Central PA (Update) A dump truck struck a school bus carrying nine students in York and fled the scene, York County Department of Emergency Services confirmed on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The crash happened at South Queen Street and East College Avenue in York City at approximately 8:18 a.m., according to emergency dispatchers. No injuries were reported among the students or the driver, authorities said. The York City Police Department is investigating the hit-and-run incident. School Bus Crash Sends 6 Autistic Children To Hospital: PA State Police A bus carrying autistic children crashed in Central Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 10, state police announced the following morning.  Six children from a school for autistic children and one adult were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center following the crash on Interstate 80 near mile marker 161 in Marion Township, troopers from PSP Rockview detailed in the release.  A 2023 Ram 2500 pickup truck struck the front driver's side of a 2007 school bus while changing lanes, as explained by PSP.
