Twin 15-year-old boys, each weighing only 55 pounds, were subjected to horrific abuse by their mother and stepfather, including being forced to stand outside naked in freezing temperatures and denied food, Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin Holihan announced Monday, Jan. 27.
Joshua Dechant, 36, and Tracy Dechant, 42, both of Lower Macungie Township, are charged with felony counts of endangering the welfare of children after a naked, malnourished teen was found running through their neighborhood in 2-degree weather on Jan. 22, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

Elon James, 40, was found guilty on Thursday, Jan. 16, after a two-day jury trial. He was convicted of felony aggravated assault, criminal attempt – robbery of a motor vehicle, criminal attempt – theft by unlawful taking, as well as misdemeanor resisting arrest and simple assault, authorities said.

Sexual Servitude: Pennsylvania Officers Raped, Assaulted Same Victim For Years, DA Says
An Allentown police officer and a former vice officer have been charged with rape and related offenses spanning several years, Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan announced on Friday, Jan. 10.
Evan Weaver, 45, of Weisenberg, and Jason Michael Krasley, 47, of Upper Milford Township, are accused of sexually assaulting the same victim between 2011 and 2015, authorities said. The pair face felony charges of Rape and Involuntary Sexual Servitude, as well as Misdemeanor Indecent Assault, Official Oppression, Prostitution, and Related Offenses, according to the DA.
