One Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-83 In York County: PennDOT A multi-vehicle crash left one person hospitalized and caused major traffic delays on Interstate 83 North in York County, according to emergency dispatch on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes at Exit 40, Limekiln Road, in Fairview Township. The wreck blocked multiple lanes, forcing traffic to detour onto the Limekiln Road exit and travel along the shoulder. Emergency crews transported one person to a nearby hospital. Coroner IDs 10-Year-Old Boy Drowned While Kayaking In Yellow Breeches Creek On Wednesday, Aug. 14 a coroner was called to the area of search for a 10-year-old boy who went missing while kayaking in Yellow Breeches Creek – which became a recovery mission to retrieve his body on Monday, Aug. 12, the Fairview Township Fire Department announced.
