Temple Student Shot Dead ID'd, Second Student Arrested In Drug Deal Gone Wrong Near Campus
A Temple University student was shot and killed in a drug deal gone wrong near the North Philadelphia campus, and another student is in custody, authorities announced.
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, in the 1500 block of North Carlisle Street, outside off-campus housing for Temple students, police said.

A Lancaster crime spree led police to 31 pounds of drugs, a stolen gun, thousands of dollars, and the arrest of a convicted felon that they believe is responsible, according to a release on Thursday, Sept. 18.
Marckenson James Cile, 25, of Lancaster, is behind bars again, this time on felony charges following three crimes all linked to him, police explained.
