Deadly Shooting Under Investigation In Harrisburg: Police
One man was shot and killed in Harrisburg early Friday, July 5, city police say. Officers responded to gunfire on the 1100 block of North 3rd Street around 1:30 a.m., authorities said in a release. They rendered aid to the victim at the scene and he later died from his wounds, officials wrote. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 717-558-6900. Bicyclist Hurt In Lancaster County Hit-Run: Officials
East Lampeter police are searching for the driver who hit a bicyclist and fled the scene on May 8. Authorities said an early 2000s model Dodge pickup truck or SUV hit the victim on the 100 block of East Main Street around 6 p.m. The crash knocked off the Dodge's passenger side mirror which was recovered from the scene, according to police. The bicyclist was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Anyone with information is asked to contact the East Lampeter Police Department on Crimewatch.

Body Found On Harrisburg Street In Broad Daylight
A death investigation is underway in Harrisburg where police found a body in the roadway on Friday, May 17, police said. Responding officers found the man dead on Ethel Street around 2:45 p.m., police said. "The circumstances surrounding the male's death is still under investigation," police said in a news release.
