Pedestrian Struck Near Cemetery In Lititz, Police Say
Directly across from a cemetery, someone was struck by a vehicle, Lititz police announced on Sunday, July 7. The crash happened at the intersection of South Broad Street/PA Route 501 and East Third Avenue around 2:16 p.m. on June 27, Lititz Borough of Police detailed in the release. The driver was "attempting to turn left onto South Broad Street from East Third Avenue [and] failed to yield to the right-of-way of a pedestrian crossing the street in the crosswalk," the police stated in the release. 'Novice' Motorcyclist Goes On 100MPH Chase In Littlestown: PA State Police
A "novice" motorcyclist led Pennsylvania State Police on a chase going 100 miles per hour from Straban Township into Littlestown— riding on sidewalks along the way, authorities said. PSP Gettysburg first spotted the unidentified motorcyclist going at "an extremely high rate of speed on US 15 South," at 9:13 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2023.
