A young man and woman were killed in what police believe was a murder-suicide Sunday, April 19 in the Lehigh Valley, WFMZ reports. Raven Ramos, 21, stabbed Victoria Nieves, 19, multiple times before stabbing and killing himself during an argument inside a Fountain Hill home on South Bergen Street on Easter Sunday, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office and news reports. A 23-year-old Brooklyn driver died when his car flew off of Interstate 78 in Lehigh Valley Tuesday, April 19, according to authorities and news reports. Emran Hossain was heading west when he hit a barrier, flipped off the highway and landed on train tracks below on Lehigh Street in Allentown around 1:30 a.m., according to WFMZ and the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. A man who shot at officers nearly two years ago for refusing to wear a mask has died at the Lehigh County Jail, authorities said. Adam Zaborowski, 37, was found unresponsive in his cell early Friday, April 1, officials said. Two young girls were killed in a Hellertown house fire Friday, April 1, authorities said. Firefighters responded to the 600 block of Linden Avenue just before 1 a.m., where they found the house engulfed in flames, officials said. Abigail Kaufman, 10, and Brianna Baer, 15, were trapped in the blaze and later rescued by firefighters, but they died at St Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. A Pennsylvania councilman died as a result of injuries sustained in a fire that killed his wife nearly a year ago, authorities said. Thomas Highland, 61, was pronounced dead Friday, March 25 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said. Jermel Johnson, of Northampton, was shot at the intersection of 9th and Gordon Streets around 1 p.m., the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said. Brenda Kohler of Northampton was driving on the 500 block of Cherryville Road in Lehigh Township when she was struck by another vehicle just after 4:30 p.m., according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. An Allentown man charged with killing his mother and sister in 2018 has entered a guilty plea, authorities announced.
