Police ID Skeletal Remains In Lehigh Valley As 'Kunkletown Killer'
Police have identified the skeletal remains found by hunters in the Lehigh Valley as belonging to a convicted killer. Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said the bones were those of William S. Edelman, Jr., a 65-year-old who most recently lived in Catasauqua. The remains were located just before 4:30 p.m. Monday in a secluded portion of the Appalachian Trail in Moore Township, the coroner said. A middle school student was arrested following an incident at his school, according to a release by Pennsylvania state police on Monday, Oct. 17. The state police were called to Bermudian Springs Middle School to investigate an incident of harassment on Oct. 4 at 1:54 p.m., as detailed in the release. Teen Shot In Central Pennsylvania: Authorities
A teenager was shot in central Pennsylvania on Sunday, August 7, authorities say. The teenage boy was found shot around 2 a.m. around the corner of Pine and Front streets, according to City of Harrisburg Director of Communications Matt Maisel. The boy suffered "non-life threatening injuries," and "as of this morning he is doing ok," Maisel told Daily Voice. The victim is supposedly not cooperating with the police, Maisel says. More Details Released About Human Remains Found In Central PA
More details have been released in the days following the discovery of human remains in central Pennsylvania. The remains were found and reported to 911 "in a wooded area behind 814 North Front Street in Steelton," at 2:58 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, according to Dauphin County spokesperson Brett Hambright.
