Foster Homes Needed For 30 Animals Seized From Berks County Home
Rescue officials are desperate for help after 30 animals were seized from a home in Berks County. The Department of Animal Protection from the Animal Rescue League of Berks County was performing a wellness check when they removed 22 dogs, three cats, five snakes, and two geckos were removed from a home in Womelsdorf on Wednesday, Oct. 9. A Mennonite dad was struck dead on Wednesday morning, Oct. 10, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office. Eldon Kreider, 43, of Manheim was driving a pickup truck when he was struck by a sedan at the intersection of Hossler and Breneman roads in Rapho Township at 8:42 a.m., the coroner said.
