A Reading mom who Googled "methods of killing" before hanging her two children in her basement has been sentenced to life in prison, the Berks County District Attorney John T. Adams announced on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Lisa Snyder, 41, was found guilty of the following on Tuesday, Sept. 24; 2 counts of First-Degree Murder, 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of Children, and Tampering with Evidence, the Berks County DA explained in the release. Man Accused Of Beheading Dad, Posting YouTube Video, Testifies At 1st Hearing: Bucks DA
Justin Mohn, the Middletown Township man who allegedly beheaded his father and posted a disturbing 14-minute-long YouTube video holding his father’s head testified for two hours Tuesday, Sept. 10, authorities announced.
Mohn also allegedly called for violent attacks against members of the federal government, according to Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn.
His father was a government worker.
After testimony at his preliminary hearing at the Bucks County Justice Center, Mohn, 32, was ordered held for trial for the Jan. 30, 2024, killing of his father, the DA said.

Federal Court Overturns Life Sentence, Murder Conviction Of PA Man
A man serving a life sentence following a murder conviction has had his conviction overturned, the Lebanon County District Attorney's Office announced on Thursday, Sept. 5.
Eddie Williams, 50, of Lebanon, had been convicted of murder in the first degree, robbery, and numerous related offenses on Oct. 14, 2015, the DA explained.
