Geoffrey Blaine, 40, Killed In Plymouth Township Truck Crash A father of three with a deep love for his family and passion for life was tragically killed in a crash in Plymouth Township on Monday, Dec. 2, police said. Geoffrey Blaine, 40, of West Chester, lost his life after his work truck veered off the roadway on the 400 block of Township Line Road at 12:25 p.m., Plymouth Township police said in a release. The vehicle struck a telephone pole, a split-rail fence, and a tree before coming to rest. Blaine was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol Unit. 'Dream Come True': NJ's First Amputee K9 Officer Throws First Pitch At Phillies Game New Jersey's first amputee to serve as a K9 police officer got a special call-up to the majors. Officer Michael Braxton Jr. with the Atlantic City Police Department threw out the first pitch at the Philadelphia Phillies game against the Washington Nationals on Saturday, Aug. 17. He patrols Atlantic City with his K9 partner Ryker. Braxton's lower left leg was amputated after an off-duty motorcycle crash in 2013 and he recovered enough to return to the police force.
